We Were Something!

Looking at the new seven wonders elections, we can see that six sites were built by Muslims, Arabs, and ancient Egyptians.

Alhambra palace, The Hagia Sophia, Taj Mahal, and Timbuktu; all of these places were built by Muslims. Pyramids of Giza was built by ancient Egyptians, and Petra was built by Arabs.

This means that Muslims, Arabs, and Egyptians have given history more than any other nation did.

When we were ruling the world we left great things behind us, we didn't leave destruction, we didn't bring blacks as slaves, we didn't leave AIDS and poverty. We left things that history will remember to the end of time.

Forty years ago in June 5th 1967, we lost it all. We lost our land and we are still losing it.
I couldn't find anything that describe the current Arabic situation better than this poem.
