Out of Here

In few days I will be leaving Amman.

I am going to miss everything.

I am going to miss my family.
I am going to miss my nephews and my nieces, learning and speaking new words.

I am going to miss ALL my friends, those whom I see on daily basis and those whom I meet by coincidence.
I am going to miss hanging out with all of them.
I am going to miss those who live outside Jordan and might come on vacations while I am not here.

I am going to miss those who "kidnapped" me from Queen Alia Airport in front of everybody when I came back from Germany after spending 3 months over there.

I am going to miss my car.

I am going to miss the coffee place where I used to hang out in Jabal Amman.

I am going to miss Abdo, Adel and Ibrahim from Chili House; Al Dahyeh branch.
I am going to miss Ibrahim; the guy who sells chewing gum at Al Rabiyeh traffic lights.
I am going to miss Muhammed; the guy whom I buy smoke from.

I am going to miss every speed bump and every low manhole after which you drive into you start cursing everything.

I am going to miss Al Rumman hill climb which I used to go to every year.

I am going to miss a lot of things.

I am so in to this country and this country is so in to me.

Aboud ..
I heard about that you were leaving , last week .. this time for a good reason :).. All I can say ..Good luck in your path .. no matter what you have chose. this could be or actually it is a new era for you .where things and life will be entirely different from what you know here , you may even hang in there longer than you think .. sometimes.. People are simply swept off their feet with the glamorous beauty of Europe .. that they forget all about the beauty of Arabia and the East ..

I wish you all Good luck .. May Allah grant you whatever you aim for .. and we hope that you'll keep us updated closely on your new life through your blog .

tealover: :) Thanks a lot, and ya this time it is for a better reason.

No matter how much it is going to be fun and nice over there, there is nothing like home.

I don't know, but I kind of have this mysterious bond with Jordan.
